Co-ed recreational waterpolo program; girls and boys train and play together.

For players born in 2008-2009.

No waterpolo experience required.

Must be able to swim 1 length (25 meters) of the pool unassisted.

Children should be comfortable in deep water without flotation devices.

Designed for children who love the water, love to have fun, love to be active, and love to throw a ball around – all while having fun in a team sport environment.

Includes instruction on the basic principles of waterpolo - egg beater, hold a ball, throwing a ball, catching a ball, shooting a ball – and of the game

Includes instruction on the basic principles of swimming; waterpolo strokes (head up front crawl, waterpolo backstroke, whip kick

Play supervised contact scrimmages against each other during practices and against other teams in the greater Montreal area as part of the Ligue des Pamplemousses (LdP).

Program corresponds to the FUNdamentals and Technical Foundation phases of the Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model.
