Gender specific development waterpolo program; girls and boys train together but play in games and tournament independently.
For players born in 2006 - 2007.
No waterpolo experience required.
Must have good water skills in being able to swim several lengths of the pool without difficulty. Children should be comfortable in deep water.
Includes instruction on the basic principles of the game. Further develops the players’ knowledge, skill, game sense, and basic team strategies.
Play supervised contact scrimmages against each other during practices and against other teams, both regional and provincial with the possibility of travel outside of Montreal. (based on level of play selected).
Program corresponds to the Early Competitive Foundation phase of the Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model and principles of physical literacy.
Regional Level
Games are played in the greater Montreal region through the Ligue des Pamplemousses (LdP).
Provincial Level
In addition to playing in the regional games, players at this level will also travel through-out Quebec and Ontario for games and tournaments.
